I have two more quilts to share from my friend, Bonnie. They both share the same gold fabric, but each quilt has a different feel. The day I photographed them the sun was shining through the window and made the gold fabric just shine.
I chose the Sashiko Diamond pantograph because it echoed one of the fabrics. I also thought the diagonal lines added fun movement to the geometric shapes. The Buttermilk gold thread was a perfect match.

The second quilt reminds me of a flower garden with the gold fabric being the paths between the flower beds. This fabric was very busy so I decided on a flower pantograph quilted at a large scale. I used black thread which disappeared into the floral fabric.
