How many of you have a lengthy WIP list? I do not. I think I only had two on my list. I just have a brain full of all sort of crafting projects that I want to tackle. I have purchased supplies for many of them, but I have more ideas than I have time. Sound familiar?
When my longarm arrived, I needed quilts to practice on. I dug out this WIP that had been packed away for a long time, since we moved from Connecticut four years ago. Since it was already sewn in strips, it didn't take long to finish. Yay! The colorful triangles are V & CO ombre fabric, which was first full bundle of fabric I ever purchased.
After working out growing pains with my new machine, I am happy with how this quilt turned out. I love the modern look of this Confetti quilt, and I like how the curves softened the triangles. It is a fun challenge to choose the right panto for each quilt. For this one, I used the Wishbone panto from Longarm League. This was my first time, using Quilters Dream bamboo. It is light weight and drapey, which is good for warmer climates.
If you have some WIP hiding away, this is a good time to dig them out and finish them up so they can be used and cherished. I would love to help you! I have many pantos that would work with a variety of quilts. Check out my available designs, and fill out my quilt form if you would like to work together.
